As part of the Tennessee STEAM Festival, come experience STEAM as it relates to Belle Meade’s history. Take a tour of our 1850s Greek Revival Mansion (10:15, 12:45, or 2:45) to learn about the technology of the Victorian Era. You can also explore several activity stations on the grounds: construct a popsicle stick bridge, experiment with color-changing milk, make a paper walking horse, design a paper plate greenhouse, and build a 3D cardstock structure. Space is limited on the tours, so be sure to nab your spot to avoid missing out. (If tours are full, you’ll still have full access to the activity stations.)

Celebrating its 28th year, the Nashville Farmers' Market is hosting the annual Turnip Green Festival on Saturday, November 7. From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. , this FREE festival will celebrate all things turnip greens, including live funk and soul music from the Nashville All Stars Band, Smiley’s famous cast iron cauldron of braised greens, Thanksgiving-themed vendor specials, a kids’ zone with hands on science with Adventure Science Center, crafts and yard games, food trucks, fall produce and more! The event is free, and parking is also free!
