Civil War Trust Park Day Volunteer Workday

Volunteers are needed to assault these invaders and clear them from the area. Will you answer the call?
Join us at Johnsonville State Historic Park on April 2nd for Park Day sponsored by the Civil War Trust. The event is part of an annual national program where the public is encouraged to visit their favorite Civil War Park and participate with park staff in conducting a project that will help enhance the public's appreciation of the Civil War and the park's main features.
Free to participate. Hand tools and water will be supplied. Outdoor work clothing, work gloves and boots are suggested. Call 931-535-2789 for more information. In the event of severe weather the work day will be cancelled.
Upon entering the park, bear to the right and meet the park staff at 10:00 a.m. at the picnic area. Individuals, families, Scout groups, home educators, church groups, TN Promise scholars and other and students needing community service hours are welcome. Reservations are not required, just show up and lend a hand.
