FAMILY PROGRAM: EMBELLISHED INSTRUMENTS: GRETSCH STYLE
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/13/2016
Gretsch guitars have unique shapes, designs, and sounds. Young designers will learn about guitar design before taking a brief tour in the new exhibit American Sound and Beauty: Guitars from the Bachman-Gretsch Collection. Then, they will apply what they learned to make and decorate their own guitars out of boxes and cardboard. The designers have the opportunity to leave artwork behind for display in the Taylor Swift Education Center’s Community Creations installation.
