Fossil Quest at Adventure Science Center
Dig into a day of prehistoric discovery at Fossil Quest on Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The entire science center becomes a field site where young paleontologists can start a field notebook, excavate real fossils, make a plaster fossil cast and amber insect soap, build a protective field jacket, and investigate specimens under a microscope. Meet Magic Mr. Nick’s Dino Puppets, too. Have a fossil at home? Bring it to the Fossil ID Table, where experts from Earth Experience and Vanderbilt PhD researchers will help identify your mystery specimens.
